Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (STCW A-VI/1-4)

Personal Safety and Social Responsibility is a STCW Basic Training module and provides basic induction training in safety procedures and accident prevention. It familiarises novice seafarers with employment and working conditions aboard. It is a classroom based course.

Duration:

1 Day or 1/2 Day if Elementary First Aid and Personal Survival Techniques courses are completed at UKSA.

Training towards:

STCW Basic Training Certificate

Please note, you can also do this module as part of the STCW Basic Safety Training course rather than individually.

Examination and assessment:

A certificate is awarded on the basis of continuous assessment and role play exercises.
