Watersports Instructors and Senior Watersports Instructors
We are seeking Watersports Instructors and Senior Watersports Instructors to add to our existing team for the 2017 season until Sep/Oct. The role involves teaching a variety watersports disciplines to our diverse customers on our RYA Adult & Youth short courses, UKSA Schools & Groups taster sessions, and includes some evening work activities. 12 x National Citizenship Service (NCS) Programme Leads (Fixed term with a range of start dates this summer)
We are currently seeking to recruit 12 x NCS Programme Leads to facilitate all activities for learners, consisting of 4 elements; adventure, skills, social interaction and community involvement with a final graduation ceremony on completion. If you are a great communicator and enjoy inspiring young people aged 15 – 17, we’d like to hear from you.

Lifeguard (immediate start). A variety of hours are available on either a permanent, or fixed-term basis, depending on your availability. Hours may fall over any day of the week and may also include bank holidays.
If you are RLSS or NPLQ qualified, we have an opportunity to join our hands-on team of Lifeguards to ensure the safety of all swimming pool users. We’re looking for people who have no trouble working off their own initiative and make decisions confidently in a variety of situations. Safety, tidiness and cleanliness of the changing rooms, showers and toilets are very important aspects of this role, as is the storing, handling of chemicals to maintain the correct balance in the pool. At UKSA we go above and beyond to provide a fantastic service to our customers and we expect Pool Lifeguards to share a commitment to excellent customer experience.

MCA Training Manager
We are seeking a full time permanent MCA Training Manager to join our successful team. This role is responsible for delivering high quality professional training to comply with regulatory frameworks for all levels from new starter to Master of a 3000gt Large Commercial Yacht. The post holder will work alongside the Yachting and Watersports Managers to manage MCA courses, instructors and equipment and also develop the MCA business to assure the long term sustainability and proud reputation of UKSA’s wider charitable activities. If you have proven management and leadership skills, great communication skills, and a strong customer focus, we’d like to hear from you.

Fleet Maintenance Operative (40 hours per week over 5 days)
This position is a Fixed-Term opportunity starting ASAP until the end of September 2017 in the first instance to support our fleet re-fit programme. Applicants must have a good understanding of keelboats, dinghies, powerboats and yachts and demonstrate strong practical experience of fleet maintenance in the boatbuilding or yacht maintenance industry. Working as part of a team and with some independent working, you will ensure the smooth transition from maintenance and refit to back-in service with minimal disruption to our core business activities. You will take responsibility for ensuring all work is carried out within Health and Safety regulations and UKSA’s Standard Operating Procedures and are in line with agreed timescales, specification and budget. It is essential that you are a good communicator, highly organised and can demonstrate attention to detail with accurate record-keeping across all routine, refit and inspection works.
