Maria Barratt

Meet Maria Barratt, who completed our Superyacht Hospitality Training course in February 2018. In March she flew to Antibes with five of the students on her course, where they met with crew agents and began networking.

  • Before the course: PR for the fashion industry
  • After the course: Day stewardess on board a superyacht
My advice

“If I was to advise someone how to get the best from this course I would say go to the bar in the evenings, speak to people and take any advice that is offered. In this way, you will be prepared for your future in the superyacht industry.”

Isobelle Oram

Before coming to UKSA, Isobelle Oram had studied finance at college and qualified as an accountant. After three years spent working in accountancy, she decided that she needed an adventure and a job that gave her kudos.

  • Before the course: Accountant
  • After the course: Stewardess onboard a 75m superyacht
My advice

“Despite hesitating about doing this course I went for it and haven’t looked back and I would say to others, get experience in things you’ve always wanted to do, even if they’re beyond your comfort zone.”

My advice

“I would advise people thinking about this course to just do it – it is the best thing you could ever do for your future.”
