Run during the UK school/university summer break, these industry leading courses are ideal options for sixth form or university students looking to use their summer holidays to train, gain transferrable skills and in-demand Watersports Instructor Training qualifications.

With 30 years’ experience in delivering industry leading training, UKSA is best placed to teach new skills and provide you with opportunity for unlimited holiday-work.

Our Summer Instructor Training allows you to gain qualifications in either dinghy or windsurf.

Where can it take you?

Summer Instructor Training provides you with the qualifications required to work in the UK and also around the world. With a huge demand for high calibre professionals in this sector you are likely to find yourself with a choice of jobs in the most idyllic locations on the planet.

All-inclusive training at UKSA

The all-inclusive course gives you practical experience, safety knowledge and all the skills required. All food and accommodation is included so you can focus on your studies.

We will prepare you for your first steps in the industry thanks to our 30 years’ of experience, unrivalled guidance, teaching, one-to-one mentoring and unique links with the maritime industry.

Price: £2,440 (including all food and accommodation)

We would expect our Summer Instructor Training candidates to have a minimum of one week’s recent dinghy or windsurfing experience depending on the training option you choose.  If you do not have this experience, our Kickstart course will get you up to speed.

Governing body membership

To enable you to gain your qualifications you must become a member of the relevant governing body (RYA, BSUPA and/or BCU), and there is a small fee payable to those organisations directly once you have completed your training.
