UKSA has been successful in being listed on the Skills Funding Agency’s (SFA) Register of Training Organisations. We are now able to bid for training or education contracts, and the contractors will be secure in the knowledge that UKSA is an approved and secure training provider.
The Register has three distinct purposes for the Chief Executive of Skills Funding:
- to confirm the organisations with an existing funding agreement are suitable to continue to fund
- to provide the Skills Funding Agency with a list of organisations that are eligible to be selected to be invited to tender for the provision of education and training services
- to enable the Skills Funding Agency to identify which subcontractors (organisations who do not hold a direct contract) prime contractors need to be asked to undertake a higher level of due diligence, monitoring and review on.
In order to be eligible to receive funding from the Chief Executive, providers must be entered on the Register. Entry on the Register does not automatically entitle a provider to funding, but it means that they will be eligible to be invited to compete for future funding opportunities.
