UKSA raising money to #SeaChange as the official charity of La Solitaire Bompard Le Figaro.
As a youth charity that uses the power of the sea to transform the lives of thousands of young people each year, UKSA are proud to have been named as the official charity for the Cowes stopover of La Solitaire Bompard Le Figaro.
Between the 22nd and 26th June visitors to the race village in Cowes Yacht Haven are encouraged to come and support the local charity.
The UKSA team will have a dinghy simulator and instructor at their stand to put you through the basics on land. As well as interactive games with a leaderboard where participants will be competing for the top spot to win a one-day sailing experience for 5 people.
On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th event visitors can try sailing with a one-hour taster session in a keelboat. Priced at £12 per adult, £10 per child (8 – 16 years) or £40 per family (2 adults and two children) you will be transferred by RIB to the waiting UKSA fleet and shown the basics with one of UKSA’s instructors, it’s a great way to take in the La Solitaire Bompard Le Figaro from the water.
Follow the journey of 26 year old Artemis Offshore Academy Skipper Andrew Baker as he competes in his #SeaChange boat which visitors will also be able to see moored at the Yacht Haven.
