The course is delivered over five days and should be taken once you have completed all of your Master (Code vessels less than 200gt) Officer of the Watch (yachts less than 500gt) training modules, right before you take your final oral exam. Designed to enhance and test your knowledge, this course will prepare you to answer questions clearly, accurately and comprehensively.
This is an all-inclusive course, which can be carried out on either a residential or non-residential basis. For the residential course, the cost includes all food and accommodation. For non-residential learners, the cost includes lunch.
- The Master (Code vessels less than 200gt) Officer of the Watch (Yachts less than 500gt) Exam needs to be booked directly with the MCA and will be held at an MCA Marine Office.
- You will need to apply for a Notice of Eligibility (NoE) before being able to book an exam.
