The UKSA Impact Report 2026
is Now Live

We’re proud to share the release of our latest Impact Report, showcasing a year of transformation, opportunity and impact across every stage of the UKSA journey.

Over the past year, UKSA welcomed 8,725 people and supported 6,095 children through outdoor learning experiences, helping young people build confidence, resilience and aspiration through the power of the sea. We also provided more than £1.3 million in bursaries and financial support, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to accessing life-changing opportunities.

From a child’s first experience on the water through Test the Water, residential school trips and Maritime Futures, to professional qualifications and careers at sea, UKSA creates clear pathways into education, training and employment. This year alone, 454 young people and 1,650 adults progressed through maritime qualifications and employment pathways, supported by industry-leading training and dedicated welfare provision.

As a maritime youth charity based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, our mission is to remove barriers, unlock potential and help individuals discover what they are capable of achieving. Whether supporting a young person to develop vital life skills, progress into Further Education, or launch a maritime career, every programme is designed to create lasting impact.

The results speak for themselves. 99% of UKSA Cadetship graduates progressed into employment, while independent research with the University of Cambridge found that 90% of UKSA alumni are in maritime employment or training.

As we continue to grow our impact, we’re looking for organisations and partners who share our vision of building a stronger, more inclusive and sustainable maritime workforce. Whether through sponsorship, funding or partnership opportunities, your support can help create life-changing experiences and open doors for future generations.
