At UKSA, your experience matters to us. That’s why we’ve made sure all of our rooms are comfortable, safe, and warm. We proudly hold a three-star ‘Visit England Activity Accommodation’ rating, and while we primarily welcome students and groups, we’re also a popular base for visitors who want to explore the island.
Our campus environment creates a real sense of community, like one big family, where everyone lives, eats, and socialises together, united by a shared passion for the water.
Our accommodation is spread across three main buildings:
- Sea.Change Centre: our newest addition, offering state-of-the-art bunks sleeping four to a room, with en-suite and a study area.
- Lister House: providing single and twin rooms, with en-suite and a study area.
- Dormitory Accommodation: bunkbed dormitory style accommodation sleeping up to 8, with access to shared bathrooms. Combined, these rooms can sleep up to 170 guests.
There’s something to suit everyone – whether you’re training for a maritime career or simply seeking a place to rest after a day on the water!
Accommodation blocks
Sea.Change Building
Built in 2022, our 136-bed accommodation centre is a fantastic addition to our facilities, boasting en-suite rooms including two wheelchair accessible bedrooms, common study areas, vending machines, air conditioning, and swipe card entry.
All our Sea.Change rooms include en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and a study area.
Lister House
Our Lister rooms offer more secluded bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, Free WiFi and a study area.
As standard, rooms are allocated based on shared twin occupancy. We have a limited number of single rooms upgrades available for a supplement.
Britannia, Endeavour & Invincible
Our dormitory style accommodation is in our main building. These rooms offer comfortable, self-contained dormitory-style accommodation, with access to a shared bathroom.
These rooms can sleep up to 8 people and are suitable for adults, and on a sole occupancy basis for schools and groups with separate leader rooms in each block.
