“Over the years, UKSA has changed the lives of many individuals through maritime education and on-the-water activities. Personal development, improved self-esteem, broadened horizons and fulfilling maritime careers are just some of the outcomes.
“This experience gives the charity a solid and proven platform on which to move forward with an ambitious but achievable plan to reach even more young people. This includes outdoor activity programmes, training for employment, intervention programmes, informal learning and sporting excellence initiatives.
