Adventures to last a lifetime

We are proud to offer young people of all abilities activities where they can learn skills for life in an aspirational and safe environment.

Our customised programmes are designed to build confidence and encourage teamwork using watersports and the great outdoors as a catalyst for positive outcomes. Visits can also be tailored to include RYA and BC qualifications.

Our outdoor activity centre provides our guests with plenty of water-based outdoor programmes which gives students the chance to try a combination of different disciplines that call upon a variety of personal and team skills during their stay. They are encouraged to aspire and achieve – and have great fun realising what they can do both individually and together.

A safe learning environment

The safety, well-being and enjoyment of those visiting UKSA are our number one priority. We are a home-from-home for children and young people and pride ourselves on our exemplary safety protocols that sit within a robust and fully compliant framework.

We train our instructors and staff to an exceptionally high level, with on-going development and training a standard practice at UKSA. We facilitate regular visits from the official bodies and authorities that regulate us, and we are accredited by Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC), the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the British Canoeing (BC).

Our unique programmes at our waterfront base include travel, accommodation, food and drink, tuition and evening entertainment.

For over 35 years we have been providing schools and groups with a fun, safe and engaging experience at UKSA. Our team are ready to discuss your individual requirements and work with you to create the right programme for your group.
