Give yourself the best chance of success. If you’ve completed all of your Master (Yachts) modules and you’re preparing for the final oral exam, it’s highly recommended that you sign up for this intense final preparation course.

About the course

Designed to enhance and test your knowledge, this course will prepare you to answer questions clearly, accurately, and comprehensively.

Delivered over five days, the course itself is not assessed, however it will prepare you for your MCA Master (Yachts less than 500gt/3000gt) oral exam.

This all-inclusive course can be delivered on a residential or non-residential basis. If you opt for the residential course, the cost includes your accommodation and all food. The non-residential option includes lunch each day


Live Online Learning course available as a bespoke opportunity

Our Orals Preparation Master (Yachts <500gt/3000gt) course is also available as a bespoke LIVE online learning course delivered by UKSA’s dedicated instructors. Real-time learning sessions are held over the voice and video platform, Zoom and can be completed from home using a WiFi enabled laptop or home PC*.

The course will be run over 6 days (09:00 – 17:00) via zoom with one of UKSA’s expert instructors.

A Orals Preparation Master (Yachts <500gt/3000gt) course pack will be posted to you once you are registered on the course.

You will still be required to sit an IAMI examination, this can be sat at UKSA on the Friday of the course (GSK or second Friday Nav and Radar) there is an exam fee of £150.00. Alternatively the IAMI exam can also be taken at any IAMI exam centre.
