UKSA Launches RYA and MCA Online Courses  

Keeping the needs of our students front and central remains UKSA’s priority. As we move ever further into the digital age, accelerated by the COVID-19 situation, and in order to stay relevant to our customers during these times, we have been working hard behind the scenes to produce new ways for our students to learn with us.

Offering continued support throughout this journey, and to find a way for our students to stay connected in an unconnected world, we have liaised with the sector’s governing bodies to launch UKSA’s first edition of recognised RYA and MCA Online courses.

Aiming to remove current barriers and create more opportunities into the world of Maritime than ever before, these extra online courses are now available via our website. Courses include: The RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship, RYA Online Day Skipper shorebased course and the RYA Coastal Skipper/ Yachtmaster Offshore shorebased course which will be delivered either via the RYA interactive website or taught in a digital classroom with one of UKSA’s expert and experienced instructors.

Alongside the above RYA courses, UKSA are proud to offer a range of MCA Online Oral Preparation courses, suitable for anyone studying from their Master <200gt – Master <3000gt and everything in between. In addition to the above group-style courses, we will also offer bespoke and 1:1 training options, enabling us to be as flexible and supportive as possible.

We will be continuing to liaise with our students, partners and industry bodies to work together to introduce further online learning opportunities.
