10 super facts about Monaco Yacht Show
From the super expensive to the super speedy!
The first Monaco Yacht Show was held in 1991 in Port Hercules, the only deep-water port in this tiny principality. The show then exhibited just 32 yachts, each averaging 31m long. Now 28 years later the MYS has become the showiest and most glamorous event in the yachting calendar. Over three days it will display 125 superyachts; some are now longer than 100m.
