As part of our commitment to the local community alongside our wish to provide the best educational experiences we have recently renovated the previous Cowes Community Centre Sports Hall with access direct from our site.
In partnership with Red Funnel we have provided a full-size, fully-equipped sports hall which has just been refurbished to offer another valuable training area on our site. Training sessions will be provided for students and staff.
Schools and groups will be able to access the space for evening entertainments and team games. The sports hall will be available for all local residents and clubs to hire at preferential rates.
We are passionate about the health and well-being of our students and staff. Therefore we have created a fitness and well-being package that all of our students can access during their time with us. This includes, for a small fee, access to our newly renovated gym as well as a programme of yoga and training sessions. Some of the equipment inside the gym includes a running machine, free weights, step and cycle machines and a multi-gym.

Our swimming pool is a ‘Green Pool’, with an innovative heating and hot water system – the first of its type ever to be installed. All of our students have access to use the pool at allotted times and during the winter months we also use the pool for training sessions including sea survival. Whilst our pool is made available for community use, it is also available to hire with a fully qualified lifeguard.
The pool measures 14m by 7m and can take a maximum of 20 swimmers. There is disabled access via a hoist. The pool is heated to a comfortable 30.5 degrees. There are male and female changing rooms complete with showers and toilets.
