An Evening of Opera

An Evening of Opera in aid of Polly’s Fund at Bayfield

Join us for an evening of beautiful music provided by the world-renowned singer and conductor Andrea Colombini on Friday 12th July.
He has generously arranged an evening of opera at Bayfield, Totland, bringing over singers and a pianist at his own expense from Lucca, Italy to help raise money for Polly’s Fund.

This is not just another ordinary Classical concert: it’s one of Andrea’s. He possesses a knack of producing a programme to suit every audience – and they are sell-outs in Lucca, at Blenheim and in Vienna. We would be delighted if you could join our family, friends and West-Wighters for an evening of Opera to support Polly’s Fund. The concert is free and we hope that if you enjoy the evening you will be kind enough to make a donation towards the Polly’s fund.

About Polly’s Fund

The fund supports Isle of Wight children to give them the opportunity to join us at UKSA for a fully funded 5-day sailing or multi activity watersports programme. The courses run during the school holidays enabling them to have fun, be adventurous, learn new skills and make new friends through participation in outdoor activities.
As part of the challenge, we ask each young person to fundraise a minimum of £20 that goes straight back into Polly’s fund, to enable the programme to support more children in the future. We encourage the children to do this through sponsorship like cleaning cars, tidying their room, or helping a neighbour in need – they can be as creative as they like!
