A breath of sea air

One of the biggest attractions that draw schools and groups back to UKSA year after year is our stunning 4 acre activity centre on the Isle of Wight. Our academy is literally right on the water’s edge, facing the navigable River Medina which flows past its journey through Cowes and into the Solent.

It’s a vibrant, busy centre with a diverse range of activities taking place day and night. For young people, the chance to see other students driving tenders, rigging keelboats and preparing the big yachts for sea gives them a taste of the potential pathways available into a career at sea.
