These opportunities are available for anyone from any background, with funding available to help them start a career on the water and to make the most of living on the Isle of Wight.

Our Sea.Change Foundation, supported by the Prince’s Trust, gives Island young people the opportunity to explore the vast range of employment and training options in the Maritime sector whilst making friends and experiencing new challenges on the water. This fully funded 5 day programme is available for all Island 14-19 year olds during the school holidays. On completion of the course, successful candidates will be guaranteed employment for two seasons as UKSA, gaining valuable work experience working with children from a variety of schools and groups.

We are soon to launch a new Apprenticeships Scheme, with UKSA developing further careers pathways for Island young people. This programme will allow the students to earn money whilst training in growing sectors;  making the most of the Islands Maritime location and heritage.
