UKSA has teamed up with Neilson Active Holidays to provide an exciting instructor training programme

The UKSA Watersports Academy and Neilson Holidays are teaming up to provide an EU instructor training program. With over 35 years of experience, UKSA is a world leader in watersports training. Fully funded by Neilson, this instructor training is a customised, comprehensive training package that gives you all the skills you need to start your career in the watersports industry. This is a Zero2Hero course, so no previous experience in the industry required. The instructor training will take place at the UKSA HQ on the Isle of wight. Food, travel & accommodation is included.

About the UKSA/Neilson Academy

Course overview:

January 8th – April 7th 2025
13-week instructor training
Qualify as a multi-disciplined instructor able to teach dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and winging.
Gain your multihull endorsement and powerboat qualifications
Training on Paddleboards and paddle sport crafts.
£4000+ course fee is funded by Neilson.

Working for Neilson Active Holidays

In return for the free course, Neilson ask that you complete 2 summer seasons working and getting paid on the beach.

Summer 2025 and Summer 2026, April – November.

This winter many of our ski positions have been filled by returning staff from winter/summer and a course like this would allow you to have a much stronger application for our Winter 25/26 season.

We are looking for EU passport holders and if you also have a UK passport that is a huge plus!

To enable you to gain your qualifications you must become a member of the RYA and BC. There is a small fee payable to those organisations directly once you have completed your training.
