Potential funding available

Leave no child behind

In 2019, 119 schools visited UKSA with over 6,000 children who experienced a maritime adventure. However due to lack of funds, we estimated 480 children may have been left behind in the classroom. Working with donors and corporate partners we are addressing this issue and now have potential funding available for these deserving children. We assess these financial needs on a case by case basis. if you have children that might benefit from our financial support, please contact our Schools & Groups team.

Delivering positive outcomes

Through our schools and groups programmes, we give thousands of children each year the chance to participate in sailing and watersports, many for the first time. Personal development, improved self-esteem, growing confidence, determination, teamwork and broadened horizons are just some of the positive outcomes achieved.

However, we know in this age of austerity, some parents or guardians do not have the financial support to ensure their young people benefit from a trip to UKSA. We work with donors to create funds that can be accessed to ensure that financial background is never a barrier to life-enhancing experience at UKSA.
